Bethania is a village in Tbilisi, Vaki district, near Tskneti township. Half an hour's drive from Tbilisi. The village is located 1200 meters above sea level.Bethany is characterized by fresh air and leafy forest, an ideal place for hiking and discovering new places. Bethania is distinguished by extraordinary panoramic views of the valley of the Vere River and the southern slopes of the Trialeti ridge.
A separate sight is the Bethany Monastery - a monument of Georgian architecture, a cross-domed temple. It was built at the turn of XII-XIII centuries. The monastery is located near Nasoflar Kveseti, in the western part of Tbilisi, Didgori district, in the valley of the Vere River, on its right side.
