GU2707400
The collectible design object was created by Zurab Arabidze and AD1369105 studio. Particular attention is paid to the idea and form, the material used is mainly processed with exclusive technologies. The conceptual worldview of the author is based on the principles of minimalism.
These candleholders embody a minimalist aesthetic, where every element carries meaning. The base, made of raw, unpolished stone, symbolizes the primordial nature of the earth and the immobility of time. It is the foundation, firmly holding the candle, a source of light contrasted against darkness and time. The thin metal rod, almost invisible, connects this earthly element to the candle's flame, creating a sense of ethereality and weightlessness.
The candles, placed on the platform, melt and drip, serving as a metaphor for time that inevitably passes. In the contrast between the solidity of the stone and the transience of the flame, a deep philosophical message is revealed: all things have their finite nature, even if they seem eternal. These candleholders speak to the fleeting nature of the moment, to how the light of life may seem fragile, yet it is firmly supported by foundations we rarely acknowledge, like the stone bases.
They invite reflection on the fragility of light and life, which are sustained by simple yet powerful foundations.
