The collectible design object was created by Zurab Arabidze and AD1369105 studio. Particular attention is paid to the idea and form, the material used is mainly processed with exclusive technologies. The conceptual worldview of the author is based on the principles of minimalism.
This lamp embodies the power of interaction between opposites: cold metallicity and fire, light and shadow. The flame shapes, cut from metal, are frozen in a moment, symbolizing the idea of suspended motion — fire that no longer burns but is paused in time. The metal itself is associated with immobility, eternity, and unchanging matter, while the flame symbolizes impermanence, movement, and energy. Thus, the lamp unites two opposing forces: energy and stillness.
The bulb inside seems hidden behind the cold steel, a reminder that even the most powerful forces can be contained, controlled, or temporarily stopped. The light emitted from the bulb is the very life force that fire symbolizes, but in this case, it is more subtle and restrained, as if it reflects a quiet inner struggle, a state of transition between energy and stillness.
The lamp’s aesthetics intersect with concepts of industrial architecture, postmodernism, and symbolism. The metal plates have a clean, strict appearance, emphasizing the object’s utilitarian nature, while the flame shape and light inside create emotional tension. This lamp can be seen as a piece of art, meant not only to illuminate a space but also to visually pose questions about the duality of life: frozen fire, delayed energy, the moment between what was and what will be.
